The story behind Metanoia 

My name is Amari, and in July of 2023, the Lord called me to start a clothing brand. At the time, I had no idea what I wanted to pursue in life. Previously, I had worked on a clothing brand with a friend that never saw the light of day. So, when the Lord called me to create a brand that promotes His glory through fashion, I was overjoyed. With help from a friend, I decided on the name "Metanoia," which is the Greek word for "a changed mind." The vision behind this brand is to promote repentance and the concept of changing one's mind—a simple yet powerful message. Around the same time, I also decided on a small logo: the crown of thorns with blood pouring down, representing Jesus and His sacrifice for us on the cross. My mission for this brand is to create fashionable clothes that glorify and promote a Godly lifestyle. I want this brand to spread the good news of Jesus to many through its creativity and authenticity. I'm excited to see what God does with the brand, and I thank you for joining us on this journey.
